Back from Europe with Lots to Share

After 10 days in Europe with several of my research collaborators I have lots to share.  Right now I am still jet lagged, but I will share my observations in the next few days.

In the meantime, enjoy some of what I enjoyed.

Ok its McD’s and normally I am not a fan, but in Ukraine the quality is much better and even the ketchup has no high fructose corn syrup – although we brought our own organic ketchup.  Generally the food quality is Ukraine is incredible – especially fruits and veges.

Cant wait to hear about all the research thanks for all you do for your patients and non patients.

Dear Dr. Bradstreet, Thank you very very much for all your hard work. I hope you do not take this badly, but would it be possible for you to spell the capital name of Ukraine the way it is to be spelled: KYIV.

The spelling you use–Kiev, is the Russian spelling and dates to colonization times.

    Kindest regards,

    Fran Ponomarenko

  6. Delightful. Thanks.

But if your organic ketchup is canned, homemade or not, then likely some of the pectin has shed its methanol and it has collected in the ketchup. We humans are uniquely sensitive to methanol so the animal testing that allowed the FDA to approve aspartame as safe was dead wrong.

We are a hundred times mere sensitive to it than the lab animals. See http://www.WhileScienceSleeps.com and the similarly named book for the full rundown on the huge increase in the DoC, Diseases of Civilization, including Alzheimer’s, autism, and multiple sclerosis since 1983 as aspartame was added to our diets in soft drinks.

    Dr. Bradstreet,

Thank you for these photos! Is the photo of the lab of the lab in the UK or Ruggiero’s lab? I am thinking it is the lab in the UK since your trip was to the UK. I have been to England, Scotland, and Wales, but it was a very long time ago when my parents were paying for our vacations. I have been to some of the places that you posted photos of. My favorite place to visit was Bath, England; the Roman ruins beneath the city fascinated me. There are public baths there that the people used to bath in. I also enjoyed driving along the eastern coast of Scotland….it was so beautiful.

My son is doing very well on the shots. Third shot is this Saturday AM. Running nose initially and fatigue (and a bit of tantruming, probably due to the fatigue or some type of discomfort.) I am keeping a journal of his reactions, sleep patterns etc. Several of my autism parent friends are at the investigational (sp?) stage of looking into GcMAF; I am sharing my experiences with them. They are, of course, most concerned about results and the cost of treatment.

Richard, I have a very good friend who is highly involved in researching diet. Her daughter has a dual diagnosis of Down’s Syndrome and Autism. The daugter is 8 y/o. I know that my friend is very involved in diet b/c she cannot afford some of the more expensive treatments. I know so many parents of ASD children who are having to file bankruptcy and are foreclosing on their homes. I wish I had the time and the brain energy to research diet more. My son is an extremely picky eater and has severe oral aversions….he eats the same 3 meals every day. (No ketchup and no Mac’s.) I am thankful for people like you and my friend who have the mental stamina to research all of the additives in foods. (I believe that I have some type of viral or methylation issue going on with myself, especially since my son is unvaxed and has moderate level autism. I get low grade fevers and sinus infections after I drink Camel’s Milk.)

Dr. Bradstreet, I am wondering if you know of anyone who is doing GcMAF with their child who has the dual diagnosis of DS and autism? According to my friend, whose daughter has this DD, most parents who have children with DS and autism, are not seeking to “recover” their children from “autism”. I think that they believe that the autism is genetic, just like the DS is. Thank you if you can post any info on this.
